Dr.Vasishth’s Arjuna Tablet

Arjuna, also known as Terminalia arjuna, is a tree native to India and is commonly found in the Himalayan foothills.

ACTIONS & USES:

The bark of the Arjuna tree has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for various purposes, including:

  1. Cardiovascular health: Arjuna has been used to improve blood supply to the heart muscle, strengthen the weakening heart muscle , normalize the raised blood pressure , and lower the raised cholesterol and triglycerides levels and the resultant hardening ( atherosclerosis ) of the arteries , and prevent the blood from clotting within arteries and veins.
  2. Stress and anxiety: Some people use Arjuna to help reduce stress and anxiety, as it is believed to have a calming effect on the mind.
  3. Skin health: Arjuna has been used topically to help improve skin health and appearance, as it is believed to have astringent and wound – healing properties.
  4. Digestive health: Arjuna has been used to support healthy digestion an d to alleviate symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders such as indigestion and acidity.
  5. Non – healing wounds and ulcers: Arjuna has been reported to promote healing of wounds and ulcers . It may thus be used in managing non – healing wounds and ulcers.
  6. Fractures : Arjuna has been used to promote healing of fracture d bones. It helps in the callus formation and early mineralization of the fractured bones.

HOW TO USE?

Arjuna could be used as –

  • Arjuna bark powder – 3-6 gms, 2-3 times a day;
  • Arjuna ghan (extract) tablet – 1-2 tablets, 3-6 times a day.
